Now that the Shinkar situation is resolved, can we try and get Chartier off the Leafs prospect page? .... because he's no longer a Leaf prospect as you know.

And another question, are Svoboda & Zavoral still Leaf prospects? .... because for some reason I remember reading somewhere that Svoboda wasn't re-signed after he left St. John's, and Zavoral from what I remember wasn't signed after being drafted.

Why you don't shy away from skilled smallish players who are 18.

Al Shinkar
Born Jul 3 1981

2000:

Center
Height: 5-10
Weight: 172 lbs

2004:

Right Wing
Height: 6-02
Weight: 192 lbs

You correct on the whole threesome ... All 3 are no longer Leafs ... In fact they are all UFA and belong to no one ..

I think Ian white deserves a better ranking based on his play in st john's, but unfortunatly other prospects are doing so well to, so what do you do. I think our teams depth of prospects is way better then the 29th ranking in hf would indicate.

These updated rankings will not have any bearing on the overall team prospect rankings, at least for the time being. When the teams are reranked it is possible that Toronto may move up. It depends on the rest of the season for the Leaf prospects as well as the other teams prospects. So it is very hard to say right now.

Heres what i believe is Toronto's top 15. Anyone who tinks Bell is better than Harrison is out to lunch. (He may have more offensive upside, but Harrison is a rock back there, hes a in your face presence that every team needs. A perfect replacement for Bryan Marchment. Harrison should easily be a Top 4 defender while Bell is probably the same thing except he is a tad bit offensive but his D has not been solid this year.

1)Carlo Colaiacovo
2)Alex Steen
3)Kyle Wellwood
4)Jay Harrison
5)Brendan Bell
6)Ian White
7)Robbie Earl
8)Jeremy Williams
9)John Mitchell
10)Martin Sagat
11)Andy Wozniewski
12)Dominic D'Amour
13)John Doherty
14)Justin Pogge
15)J.F Racine

I'm curious whether I will continue to be the only one on this earth that has any respect for Staffan Kronwall.
Knowing my luck, he'll probably drop off the top 20.

One of these days I need to go on a Pro-Kronwall crusade...

No. I've been pro-Kronwall, but he isn't getting much publicity so it is difficult to know whether he's getting playing time with all the NHLers over there.

I recall seeing him standing beside Sundin and he looked a couple inches bigger.
