Hi does anyone know any good places to play pick up hockey. I'm an amateur still so keep that in mind. I know there was a thread with people discussing this but I can't seem to find it. I have all the equipment and my buddy also plays goalie and has all the stuff.

That Phi-Edm game video is great until you get to the end and get to watch Horcoff and his lazy as hell penalty shot.

Batten down the hatches, boys & girls. Looks like we're in for another rough evening with 3 storms set to smash the Edmonton region.

Drop in hockey in Edmonton

Does anyone know any good places to play pick up hockey. I have all the equipment and my buddy also plays goalie and has all the stuff. I saw the city of edmonton official shinny hockey page but was wondering if anyone knows about anything other than those.

Chicago and Lollapalooza 2012

Anyone going to this?

Also, if you've been to the city or festival before, what are some places we should visit? (we're there a few days early)

Group is 27-28, we like to drink (a lot) and eat

I've been before. It's a good festival.. Each day there are 2 different headliners that are playing at the same time. You really have to decide which one you'd rather see over the other, because it's not worth it to just check out half. The walk from one stage to another is about 20 minutes and you'll miss a good chunk of either.
If you're there, definately check out some baseball games, we saw the Whitesox. We went on stubhub.com and found some cheap tickets
There is a amphitheatre downtown that has alot of cool art pieces and designs thats worth checking out. If you walk around downtown, you'll find things to do in general
Check out the House of Blues, and virtually anywhere you walk there are cool live-bands playing.
The Sears Tower downtown has a skydeck that's kinda cool to check out.. it's a glass floor that you can see the city and around that area there are alot of really good shopping areas to check out. Hope this helps and enjoy the festival. I was going to try to go, but ended up at Outside Lands in San Fran instead. There are alot of "after party" shows that alot of the artists are playing at, maybe check that out too. Most tickets can be found on stubhub.com.

No kidding. Any slight interest I had in seeing American Reunion is replaced by the rage of it blocking every thread I read

Not a babe thread.... regardless of how unusual that babe is.

You can continue to discuss Total Recall though!

Just got home from the new Batman movie. I thought it was great but I am rarely disappointed by movies.

I'm no movie snob.

Just read about the mass shooting in Aurora, CO. That is just completely ****ed up. My heart goes out to the people who lost their lives and their families. I read a baby was shot point blank. I feel sickened !

Probably the same ones that brought their 3 month old baby to an Oil Kings game and were giving us **** to quiet down.
