They weren't even a 20's couple though. I'd place them in their young to mid 30's and this also probably happened 4 years ago, whatever season was the Oil Kings first season back.

Up and Coming Hockey personality was one of the victims of The Dark Knight shooting. Reading this article gave me goosebumps. R.I.P Jennifer.

Ghawi wrote for Busted Coverage and kept a blog of her own. Her last entry was an account of the Eaton Centre shooting last month in Toronto:

I can't get this odd feeling out of my chest. This empty, almost sickening feeling won't go away. I noticed this feeling when I was in the Eaton Center in Toronto just seconds before someone opened fire in the food court. An odd feeling which led me to go outside and unknowingly out of harm‘s way. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around how a weird feeling saved me from being in the middle of a deadly shooting.

Too be able to avoid such a random act of violence just a month ago and get put right back into another random act... So sad.

Condolences to Dolomite who has a personal connection to Jessica, and to her family.

So that 10 man trade involving the Jays, good thing?

In my opinion. Even if all the pitchers from the Astros suck, the 7 "assets" they gave up isn't a big deal.

The biggest part of this deal though is getting some new arms and especially a healthy starter as well it makes room to bring Snider back to the bigs. Hope he gets the start in right tonight.

Absolutely horrific. Something in the water down there in Colorado... another major tragedy for them... and the story about the young woman who was a hockey blogger, that narrowly avoided the shooting in Toronto, I mean... wow... RIP to all the victims and prayers go out to all those affected.

Hard to recommend you somewhere to go if you don't know what you're after. I can tell you some places not to go however...

You can PM me and I can try and help you out.

Me and a friend are thinking of going to the Rider game in October, and the Oilers game a couple days later.

Wondering if there was any things to do (other then the mall) in those couple days between games

Scary stuff. This is not intended to be mean or anything, but, talk about being happy to be in a back row instead of the front in that situation.

Weird how some peoples cards are dealt...especially that bloggers.

Condolences to all involved in the tragedy.

another 4 people shot in TO last night, after a proclaimed "peace march"... wow what is going on there in Toronto. and police don't have any intel on any of these perpetrators to help prevent this? Where are the parents? Have to imagine most of these guys aren't first time offenders... I don't know, just awful whats happening there.

What do you want to do? There are tons of things to do in Edmonton. Museum, science centre, bars, nightclubs..etc. you'll have to narrow things down a bit.
