I'm in the same situation with an Eberle signed jersey.

Anyone know a good/fairly inexpensive framing place for this type of stuff. I may want to throw in an Eberle rookie card as well.

Hey everyone!

As I am not from the Edmonton area and I've only been to one concert in Edmonton (Rexall Place), I just wanted to know how the Shaw Conference Center is for concerts as I am going to be going to the Alexisonfire concert there!

Thanks!

almost every show I've seen there has sounded like a muddy fuzzy wall of noise. not every show, but I would say 90%.

Vehicles are the worst investment anybody ever makes. A lot of people are making even worst investments in the higher range vehicles. Theres no way to justify it beyond "toy".
Thats the appeal of buying a luxury auto, it makes "the ride" incredibly pleasurable. Most people (most) grow out of "driving like a teenager" by the time they can afford a car like that.

If you buy the golf pony up and get a TDI over the 2.5 - well worth it.

Pretty much what Groucho said. I think the standing area right in front of the band isn't too bad though...depending on the band. In the back where they serve drinks is terribble though. Just look up and you'll see why.

Have fun anyways.

Yeah pretty much, the venue itself is decent as there is a beer gardens at the back and a wide open floor space with seating on either side. However as stated the accoutics are terrible there and it's due tot he way the ceiling is constructed. The place it more geared towards conferences and not concerts.

I've never had any complaints about shows at Rexall. Always top notch sound. Much better than the Shaw or the EEC (Or the embarrassment that is every show on the Northlands grounds).

I'm waiting to hear back on an apartment I'm trying to get in Spruce Grove. Anyone live there? Is it a decent place to live?

IMO, both are good, and like the one poster said, pony up for a TDI would be a good choice, but my preference would be a Mitsubishi Lancer because not only do they look real nice on the outside and inside, but they all have AWD (All Wheel Drive), which is perfect for the winter months here. Plus, can't go wrong with the 10 year powertrain warranty. But, that's just my opinion.

Hey guys. Jarret stoll is coming to town to sign autographs tomorrow and I got a picture of his OT goal against Vancouver. I wanna get him to sign it so I can give it to my buddy that's a huge nucks' fan.

Anyone have any ideas for a clever one liner for me to ask stoll to write on it.
