I wonder what their reason was for getting on stage 45 minutes late.
Why would you go to a Metallica show if you don't like Metallica? No wonder you didn't have a good time.

Awesome awesome concert. That stage and production was incredible. Would watch again.
That's exactly why they went on late. I got there pretty early and got in with no trouble. They other people in our box suite came in just before Metallica went on and they said it was a nightmare getting in to Rexall.

Bingo.
Saw Maiden a few weeks back, showed up an hour early. Waited over an hour with my pregnant wife in the hot sun to get into Rexall, and when I spoke my mind with security they threatened to kick me out. Made it in time to see the opening band close their set (and we're both die hard fans of that band so we went to see them as much as Maiden), and Maiden even let them delay their set by 1/2 an hour because so little people were making it through security.
Ever wonder why TSN.ca does not allow users to post comments on "sensitive" stories, while ESPN (which partly owns TSN) allows every comment imaginable on any subject? Also wonder why TSN often takes so long to show comments? And were you annoyed that nobody could post comments about the Olympics on TSN but were instead directed to a lame CTV sports site?

Because TSN doesn't have moderators to monitor and censor particularly trollish comments or pithy arguments from breaking out?
But I doubt TSN is so lacking in cash that they couldn't afford it. Most sites have mods of some sort.
Most sites with "user comments" are censored by a webmaster or the articles writer. You'll often get a "comment awaiting approval" message from sites that haven't swapped to Twitter or Facebook linking yet.
TSN carries articles from the AP, so the writer isn't there to censor anything. It's also pretty hard to tell your on-air talent to read the comments section of their articles (Hey Bob, in-between fielding calls and talking on air, you want to delete "leafsfan112"'s tirade about Habs fans? Kthx).
The sheer traffic and complexity of the site prevents the web team from doing the job, I'd think. Can't really appoint trusted commenters to moderate a comments section either. A board has a long time community, where as a TSN comments section is a random grouping of trolls and fans.
There are enough places to talk about the serious issues they publish, I'd think. Most of them would get threads here on one of our boards.
Lol. I literally could not care any less about a single brand of luxury vehicle, than I do about Cadillac. They are almost all ugly IMO. Although I used to love Escalades, but that was way back when.
Man what a let down for a guy who dislikes Metallica. I'm sad to hear they treated a non-fan so unfairly.
Yeah, the big time acts do this kind of stuff all the time. It's part of being a super group.
Groups like Van Halen does this kind of stuff all the time. They're especially bad for their opening acts, which they are guaranteed to absolutely blow out of the water. I went to the 1884 VH concert and they had "the velcroes" opening for them...a Rockabilly act in the time the Stray Cats were popular.
