I don't think CBJ fans were for it, either.

To Buffalo:

- 2nd Overall Pick

To Columbus:

- Cody Hodgson
- 12th Overall Pick
- 21st Overall Pick
- 42nd Overall Pick
- 44th Overall Pick
I'd do it from a CBJ perspective. I think it's a pretty easy trade to take.

Because Pittsburgh isn't interested in picks or prospects. They want roster wingers or d-men.

Pomminville/Stafford + Sekera is more the type of package Pittsburgh would want.

And there is no way that the habs oass on a 6'3" 205 lbs center regardless if he's Russian or has Mono!

While I agree with you there, your proposal has to be the worst one I've seen on this site. No offense, but I really can't see how you can be serious.

If they took out #62, maybe.

What does that have to do with acquiring the BJ's 2nd overall pick?

Try some Sukitupitols for your Buthurtitus.

I would think that Howson is probably more inclined to pick up roster players for that pick rather than stock the prospect cupboard for his replacement. He should take Galchenyuk, and try to somehow keep Nash in Columbus

What does that fact that you made a terrible proposal have anything to do with this? Just trolling???

What do the Oilers even have to do with this topic? Are Leafs fans so unhinged that they have to trash the Oilers on a topic about the Jackets pick?

And that Schenn/Lupul/5th offer for 2nd/31st/Nash is one of the worst proposals I've ever seen. Never have seen a fanbase overvalue their own players so badly.

Welcome to what Oilers fans have been going through, Jackets fans. Now that the Oilers are keeping 1st the delusional horde has set their attention on you. Good luck.

Burke wasn't GM then. It was Fletcher who made the move up.

Not a bad deal from Jackets perspective. I'd ask the Wild to throw a 3rd rounder in there to seal the deal.

There is no way in hell the Habs pick Grigorenko over Galchenyuk. NO WAY.

Not that I think that trade would happen from a Buf perspective. But you guys could have the 30th pick as well. And with or without it, you could theoretically move back into the top 10 and get maybe a guy that slipped or its around 6-8 a guy you wanted all along. And still walk out with Hodgson and a few picks.

this would certainly solve a whole bunch of positional needs all at once wouldn't it? Hodgson would play now, and the rest can develop all together and come up all together (hopefully).

I'd be shocked if Kerdiles is still there at 42. A center from our neck of the woods? That's a no brainer for Murray.
