Mike Grier

I was wondering - what is Mike Grier up to these days? And could he be useful as an assistant coach or player developer in the organisation? I remember how the young guys talked well about him guiding them, giving advice and a pat on the back. Always seemed like a classy guy and I have to admit, I miss him.

Probably enjoying the retired life.....Id take a shot at having him be an assistant in Rochester. There were a lot of things that he did that could be taught, and I could see him being a huge asset to our CS. I said it after his last year as a sabre. Also there is no harm in adding another alumni to the payroll.

ya so far all the alumni they have brought in recently are good, Peca, Mckee, and Teppo Numminen. I think Grier would fit right in with those guy but I think hes taking a couple years off, I believe he has a young kid or two so maybe he wants to wait until they get a little older.
