What do the numbers mean besides some players like the 55, 0, 1? I'm guessing theres still a chance guys who sign overseas will be qualified still right?

It's a number I arrived at via research, scientific method and discussion with team officials to decide a player's likelihood of being qualified. Jack Hillen is at 50 because he played well but the Predators also have other defencemen. Wishart is at a 1 because he's unlikely to be qualified but there is a small chance. Valentenko's at a 0 because he's already signed in the KHL.
That or...I cut and pasted from the free agency thread and forgot to delete all the numbers...

Yes, Niskanen was qualified, but he rejected the offer, but both sides want a multi year deal.

Looks like Schneider and Weise have both had offers extended to them as well.

The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has extended qualifying offers to the following six players:
Richard Bachman
Jordie Benn
Mark Fistric
Ryan Garbutt
Luke Gazdic
Colton Sceviour
Angelo Esposito, Mikhail Stefanovich, Michael Neal and Jake Hauswirth did not receive qualifying offers.

how far the mighty have fallen
on a side note, has a team ever confirmed qualifying offers for ome players one day and then on a later date announce more qualifying offers?
I find it weird a team would take the time to qualify some of the guys they intend to each time instead of doing them all at once

Stars say although Tom Wandell hasn't been extended a qualifying offer, he could still get one.
