I'm so bored without Hockey on TV and there is nothing but Major League Baseball on. Wimbledon later on and it just happens to be one of my favourite international sporting events along with the NHL, NFL and Tour de France (I blame my Brother for the TDF addiction).

Seriously, I can't wait to start a new job in 2 weeks time although the downside is that unless it is on NBC Sports, or on a Weekend, I will not be able to catch a great deal of Penguins games although I do have the Penguins (with Pens Radio) app thing on my iPhone to listen to .

I have a buddy who is an avid baseball fan, and casual Devils fan. I make sure to make fun of baseball at least 5 times every time we hang out. What a ****ing ****** sport...

I'm not exactly a Baseball fan myself although I do prefer to watch the Cricket.

BTW, I think Australian Rules Football is gay (because unlike the NHL, you are not allowed to get into a fight). I love the Rugby codes though.

Cricket is the most foreign, complicated sport ever.

That is EXACTLY how I view cricket. Nothing in that video seems questionable to me.

I've never been to Vegas and I've never had any desire whatsoever to go to Vegas...but my route from Missoula to Los Angeles passes right through Vegas and now I'm being roped into spending a couple days there.

This outta be interesting.

Talking of relatives in sport. One of my great-grandfathers was trainer of a Grand National winner.

Serious question for those who listen to Linkin Park

Would you consider them sellouts after hearing their newest CD?

Linkin Park never had enough talent to sellout.

Weirdest most freak accident in the world

I work in a restaurant (college job) and I was washing my hands and dried them off and turned around and there was a waitress standing kind of beside me and when I turned around she had a steak knife in her hand to her side and I hit my hand into it when I turned. So the first reaction to when you hit something like that with your hand is to jerk away, so when I jerked away it got caught between my middle and ring fingers and sliced my middle finger pretty bad. Pretty gross thing to watch as well. Poor waitress felt terrible.

Of course it was my right (dominant) hand, couldn't have been my left.

Ouch...that sounds awful.

Injuries to the dominant hand are always awful. I learned why there are so few knuckleball pitchers the wrong way...and to this day my right arm has a limited range of motion because of that...of course me left arm is utterly useless.

How do you like my lady who lies in your arms asleep?

Matty mother****ing Groves: Oh, well I like your feather bed and well I like your sheets /
But better I like your lady gay who lies in my arms asleep.
