Oh well, good for him that he ended up going. Hopefully this doesn't cause more facebook petitions to make celebrities do things which they shouldn't be asked to do.
Regardless of the campaign, it was the right thing to do. He didn't inform the media, did not make a fiasco out of it, just showed up and sat and talked with some folks that were nearly killed for being his fans (or fans of his movies).

I think we tend to really over analyze things. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him visiting the victims. Good for him.

I had planned on purchasing that. I will have to put it off though since I went $53 over my steam sale budget and the Garlic festival is coming up.

So. I just won a contest through KGO radio. Tickets to MotoGP this weekend (which I'm already going to) and this crazy carbon fiber helmet from Bell helmets. I've never won anything before!

Congrats! That's pretty cool. You should just wear the helmet around for days and days, everywhere you go... on the bus, at the grocery store, etc.

So this was supposed to be out in 2012 but, for some reason, still no release date yet.

Lord Tyrion the Larper... on shrooms no less, for Game of Thrones fans. And River... er.. Summer Glau for Firefly fans. Looks like there's even an appearance from Heisenberg.

Let's go Hollywood, get it released before Halloween!

We got our trip booked last night, had to pay a bit more to get a slightly bigger room, but still a screaming deal for a 5 night stay on Maui, on the beach, in a suite. Should be fun, if the 2 year old doesn't make the flights into a nightmare... will be his first plane flight.

Oh man. Good luck, brother I'm counting this as my first trip to Hawaii. I went when I was 5, but got so sick I spent two days in the hospital with IVs in both arms

Okay, this is kinda' crazy but i'll be in Maui next week too! We've got a condo on the beach for most of the week to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday.

Not sure what her and her friends have planned, but i will most certainly be checking out the Maui Brewing Co. Maybe we'll all bump into each other sometime!

Dude! Random! I want to check out the brewing company as well. There's also a places called Monkeypod Kitchen that is supposed to have some kick ass cocktails.

God, I hate it that when you finally decide to play your PS3 ,it tells to install a ****ing update. Really? I thought that's what consoles supposed to be superior to PCs at....

Check out the restaurant Beach Bums in Ma'Alaea. It was my favorite/most cost effective (haha) restaurant I ate at when I was in Maui last year.

I've been wanting to go to Hawaii, I was just always too lazy to plan it. Any good island recommendations? I have friends in the Marriott, so pricing shouldn't be a problem ($40 a night for a suite). Plane tickets on the other hand...

I like Kauai personally. It's way more relaxed and that's generally the reason I'd be going to Hawaii.

It's not going to be fun for you, your kid or the people sitting near you. Unless you knock him out, or get those pressure earmuffs for little kids on planes and hand him a gameboy or something. lol

We have an iPad and a Kindle loaded with pixar movies. Hopefully that will do the trick. He's a pretty good kid too.

Ah ok you're really prepared lol. Take off and landing might mess with him though. Especially with the fairly quick changes in pressure during those moments. I'm saying that because even now it sometimes ****s with me and I'm an old man compared to a two year old.
