So watching this on british tv makes everything way funnier. After anything you have guys in thick south london accents going "OH MY GOODNESS THAT WAS BEAUTIFULL!"

The opening ceremonies were all to familiar to English humor, mostly dry and bland with a small dash of chuckle.

You know what game series I miss?

Killer Instinct. They really need to make another one of those.

Probably won't happen though since there would likely be a huge rights fight between Nintendo and the now-Microsoft-owned Rare.

This is making me realize that I actually look forward to the events in the Winter Olympics more for the first time in my life.

Summer: Swimming, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Some Running Events.

Winter: Speed Skating, Hockey, Skiing, Snowboarding, Figure Skating, Whatever event has the ice brushers and Sledding

That's all I got, but the feeling is there. I like the Winter Games better and I can't even believe it.

The Winter Games are way better than the Summer Games imo. Winter has Snowboarding, Hockey, Bobsledding while Summer has women's volleyball.

I'm just trippin' cause I have always been a big fan of the Summer Olympics. They have marked era's in my life. The Winter Olympics were always just an after thought. But the last two events have changed my mind.

As an old fart who doesn't learn many new tricks, it's kind of a revelation.

I was super disappointed to just hear the noise and not see a Tardis.

So, I've found 8 channels carrying Olympic coverage on my carrier.

Including two "dedicated" soccer and basketball channels.

Didn't spend a lot at the Garlic festival so we stopped by an animal shelter.

Little Douglas Murray the cat will be welcomed into our home on Monday!

Edit: By the way, as the years have gone by, it's getting more and more difficult to find good cat names out of The Sharks roster.

China's got 4, now there's a country who knows how to motivate it's athletes.

My favorite thing so far...England with 0 total medals. I guess producing a live version of 'High School Musical' really took a lot out of them.

I think you're confused motivation with being a slave and having to train since you were about 5.

Exactly. Only slighty better than being sent to labor camps for failing like NPK. USA's medal count always starts off slow as the big events come later. Medaling in team archery was a huge surprise.

You need to stop *****ing. It was a 1 year warranty, anything beyond that is not my problem.

The brakes, engine, transmission and electrical system are not a part of the warranty. It includes flat tires (not nails though) and faulty light bulbs (not headlights though) and the rear passenger side window.
