I just want to say, Kate Longworth is looking extra hot lately.

She is just as irritating tho.

P.S. I wasn't all that into Wall-E either.

Yeah, I just figured they might at least try to work in the 3-4 second end jingle bit so that you know the video is over (without reading the time marker). Now it just cuts out.

I also laughed way too hard at Dende saying "come at me, bro"

He's a little young yet for hot wheels really, that's a 3+ toy technically.

He is a Lego fiend though (as he should be), and that's really the most important thing.

After watching this DVD in its entirety, I would gladly pay more for it. The original Japanese trailer at the end sealed the deal. I understand your situation, though (shipping to Canada blows).

The full sea louse scene - awesome and disgusting
Full-color Soviet sub scene - I wonder who the knob was that decided on the red filter for the US release.
The Soviet commander tried to stop the launch from the freighter - Wow, way to make them the bad guys in the US version...

I think that Brave is the first "real" Disney-Pixar collaboration movie.

I would count Brave as a "Disney" (themed/type) movie, rendered by Pixar, and not really a "Pixar" (story) movie.

(Tangled too -- more Disney.)

Disney animations seem to be based on "historic"/fairy tale (non-contemporary) locations/times, often on a book/story. (And most seem to be based around main female character.) Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Princess & the Frog, Tangled. (Contrast: Fox & Hound, Brave (little toaster), Robin Hood, Meet the Robinsons. Plus the mixed-mode live-action/animated including Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon, Bedknobs and Broomsticks.)

Pixar stories are mainly set in contemporary (if "fantasy" worlds) times. And original stories.

Left my apartment at 6AM to catch the train to make it to an 8am meeting that I was hosting. Get to the office just to find out that the team (remote) is taking a day trip together because an international team member is visiting. Meeting canceled... Unbelievable.

Dude, the Heinz Automato 2 video made me laugh harder than I have laughed in a long time. I have tears drying on my face right now.

I love business attire. I'd probably not take a job that has "whatever goes" dress policy. I mean the only point of making money is being able to buy expensive ass Hugo Boss and Zegna suits. I'll be like Barney Stinson and have my own closet just for suits.

That wouldn't be very practical in the IT field, I'd be getting my suit's filthy every day!

The nicest suit I own cost about $700.

Yah it was actually a 2-for-1 deal, I got two $700 suits.

Still nothing especially great, but at least they are tailored.

Not uncomfortable in the sense that it didn't fit me well, the one I wore was actually tailored for me (but it was a rental). I just don't feel comfortable in a suit, takes me out of my element
