I wouldn't want to speculate on a firm timeline but I think within the next month or 2 you'll see it all shake into place. They'll feel out the roster as it sits and tweak where necessary. No different than any other season. The players I listed above as moveable are just my opinion.

He's injured.

Knights need to stay out of the box, 2-1 Guelph after 1.

If I'm Patterson I'm growing more and more impatient every game I don't start. Don't be shocked to see Jake moved before Christmas. I wouldn't wait around if I were him.

I haven't really followed the knights that intensely in the past, been more of a casual fan so I might get some facts wrong, but doesn't London have a decent young goalie in Herbst so moving Patterson wouldn't be a huge deal?

Herbst is 16 and just had knee surgery. They need Patterson now (to split time with Bailie) and next year as a tandem with Herbst. The Knights won't trade Patterson.

5-2 Knights after 2, looking a little disorganized against a better opponent. Bailie finally looked comfortable during that period. Also, I can't see Platzer ever being taken out of the lineup. Great patience on Elie's goal there.

Yes they do. Herbst is currently recovering from off season knee surgery. He's the goalie of the future in London. Patterson will be getting starts this year...if he doesn't...he will be moved. He won't sit around and play second fiddle for long..he's too talented.

Wondering how Broadhurst has looked to you guys.

Loved watching him at Green Bay, really wanted to see him at UNO.

Broadhurst is a keeper. Amazing vision and is at times invisible in the offensive zone. Very positive as he seems to just appear at the right place at the right time. Could toughen up a bit cuz he's gonna get knocked around quite a bit. After 2 games he's potted 2 and added 2 helpers.

I knew when the Knights took him they had a player, they took in the 2nd because a certain team I know was poised to take him
He wont wow with his physicality abd strength but his skill set is off the charts

Let me guess, it was Kitchener or Windsor. PM me if ya want. People were questioning the use of a 2nd on him but the Knights did a similar thing with John Carlson in 08. You have to look at it like, we just traded a 2nd round pick for a top player, when at the deadline it would cost you much more than that.

As for today's game, the Knights started out slow, then took control for the last 45 minutes. Happy to have more toughness this year as teams start to get dirty when the score gets out of hand. Thought Bailie started shaky again but shut the door after that. But there weren't many good scoring chances for the Storm after period 1.

Hopefully they can keep on rolling Friday and do what they did to Kitchener 5 months ago.

Not my 1st rodeo HL11

plus...I knew that right after Broadhurst was selected by London. There's always a reason when you take a 93 dob with your 1st pick in the 2nd round

feel bad for a kid like bo horvat with just one assist in two games (london has 16 goals in these two games). this is his draft year so why not showcase him and give him more icetime and pp time escpecially when you have a good lead. hopefully he gets out and to a team that will give him an opportunity , which he desevers instead of taking a backseat to the favorites in london.

Horvat has been getting plenty of ice time. He's the #1 shutdown forward in London..that's his role. Horvat doesn't have to find the back of the net to be effective. He's getting PP time on the back end as quarterback and he's getting top PK minutes as well.

Are you watching the games or just reading the boxscores?

Hes played alot with Domi/ Anderson on one of the top 3 lines for the most part.
The top 3 are balanced and all have been seeing reg duty.
Throw in some PK and PP time as well.

There will be no shortage of scouts checking him out and Dale will have his total game improving and hell be draft ready come June. Scouts will see what he brings to the table and draft him accordingly.
Tierney somehow managed to go early in the draft despite being a 4th line guy last year (playing wiht Bo none the less)

He aint goin no where

London started off like crap. Bailie was the same Bailie he was in Oshawa for the first two goals that he let in. After the first intermission the entire team seemed to step up. They must have had one hell of a talking to in the dressing room by Dale. After that they played great. London looks real good again.

I've heard that some of the players have been told they will be playing on a Junior B team the rest of the season. Any idea's who and where?

Lines In Practice today:

Broadhurst Tierney Welychka
Ruperts and Griffith
Domi Horvat Anderson
Restoule Elie Platzer

A 5th line skated today consisting of Jacob Jammes who skated his first full practice today.

Nevins Jammes Pawley was that 5th line.

Trevor Wheaton is still with the team because Patterson is still injured with that back and did not skate today. He hopes to be back for Friday.

Don't believe anybody has been sent down. If it's true possibilities are Corey Pawley and John Di Lorenzo.

Di Lorenzo? He's listed as having already played 6 games with the Jr. B Port Colborne Pirates.
