I'm getting in on the ground floor of this new lounge thread by announcing that rather than get my old man a card, I bought him a $20 steak and wrote in sharpie "Happy Fathers Day" on the butcher's wrap.

It went over well.

I'm liking the Friends reference in the title.

It really is. I highly recommend it. It was a bit slow to take off, like most good shows, but it really hit its stride in season three or four and never looked back.

A bit surprised no one jumped on you for missing a word in your sentence.

But yeah, like I've previously noted, I was a Raymond and Fresh Prince fan. I've watched every season at least a dozen times.

That's the saddest thing I've heard since they switched the rules.

Fresh Prince was the bomb, yo. My hobby on the Internet lately has been telling really elaborate and intricate stories, and turning them into Fresh Prince references halfway through.

He used to be so awesome. It's a shame that he's turned into a shell of his former self.

You both just made my day. That's probably one of my favorite memories of the series.

Watched the entire LotR trilogy the weekend for the first time in about 5 years. Can someone explain what the hell happens to Frodo?

He's gone to a new world or something? I don't remember. He re-unites with his uncle, who is dead, so I don't know. I'd have to watch it all again myself

I have the books, and just finished the book I was reading the other day. I might start them for a full understanding.

Does the movie end similar to the book? Never read any of them
