I forget where I read it, and not sure how much truth there was to it, but I heard somewhere that Mr. Benson wants to rename the Hornets to something more appropriate to LA, "Voodoo" was the top choice if I remember right.

Ukraine is definitely looking like the better TEAM so far, even if England has the better talent.

Ukraine should really be up like 2-0 about now. England are really fortunate.

Thought for sure Rooney was going to dive there. If it was Ashley Young it would have been a given..

People would probably complain about it "ruining the flow of the game." But really, you can't have the game decided on a missed call. Video review has been a blessing for every sport that has used it.

FIFA is so ****ing antiquated. Clearly even the end line ref concept isn't working as intended. Just go to replay. It's worth the 5 minute delay that it takes to check the play up in the booth.

FIFA is going to goal line technology. UEFA are still dinosaurs.

The ball was over the line, but the play should have been called off for offside. So no harm done in that case tbh, though don't get me wrong, they do need goalline technology. The linesman was useless in this game.

Nobody collapses in the 2nd quarter. It's a game of runs. Thunder will (hopefully) pull this out.

Well, I call it a collapse when you let go of a 14 point lead in about 6 minutes. You can't do that. Especially with how important this game is.
