Star Winger most likely acquired

So, we are after wingers, through trade or free agency, who do you see as the most likely available winger to land on the Sharks?

Semin
Parise
Nash
Kovalchuk
Ryan
Whitney
Doan
Someone out of the blue
None of these (not star player)

Poll incoming, give it a second.

Also bonus points if you guess the deal (Trade or signing amount).

Sharks will get all of them

Seriously, I suspect none unless they can move Marleau. But who knows if that will happen. Im in the minority here and like Nash, but with his cap hit its unlikely...

None. They don't have what it takes to pull any of those guys.

Kovalchuk? Really? How is that even an option? Who'd want that contract?

Aren't "Someone out of the blue" and "none of these" the same thing?

Yah oops, I mean someone out of the blue, or no one of significance (not star).

Doan hopefully, this team needs a big named player who doesn't play like a ***** and goes to the net hard.

If you are expecting star power you may be disappointed

DW is going to work his magic .. once his weekend tanning is completed on Sunday to start working on acquiring 'someone out of the blue'.

I'm feeling particularly crazy in saying DW will land Semin for a reasonable rate.

don't think we want a "star" player, more of an emerging player or vet with a year or two left in the tank.

Doesn't matter so long as he can help kill penalties and help push the pace on line 3

Well.... 90 points on the third line would be Chicago Black Hawk Cup run status... So sure why not

So I was taking a gander at behindthenet.ca, and Doan's numbers seemed kinda meh. Whitney's and Vrbata's numbers were more impressive.

I know numbers aren't everything, but is Shane Doan really worth $5 million?
