Surprised to see Grigorenko falling further down the tables.

Wouldn't it be grand to package our 5th and 35th for Washington's picks if we could still nab Grigorenko? Doubt Grigs would fall to 11th though...

Faksa at 22?

Wow, he really dropped down.

Is it because of his concussion issues?

NACS is not the same as ISS or what you are probably thinking of The Central Scouting Bureau(CSB), which did their final ratings in the 1st week of April.

And him falling doesnt set off warning bells for you? Maybe we'd be better off taking a higher ranked player?

these rankings are a crap shoot outside of the obvious. GMs will draft who they want and feel are the best.

How many of these rankings pan out as it relates to eventual NHL success in that order.

I think Bobby Mac's rankings tonight should help us see how well this ranking agrees with the ones from other scouts.

Why do they separate NA and European players anyway? I can see why they would do this back in the day before the interwebs, and scouts would be pretty oblivious to players outside of their given area, but at this point I fail to see the reasoning behind it.

Mark Seidel is a hack. He's had zero MSM coverage in like 2 years; NACS is bunk.

Don't read it then, no one is forcing you to or to comment. You could do better probably.

If you take, ISS, Button, and NACS lists, you can sort of know what to expect tonight with Mac's clearing house for scouts rankings. CSB(though they finalize their ranking far too soon for my liking), NACS, and ISS are more reliable than any single scout because they debate and rank them. So it's not one single voice, there are multiple opinions so you can't say one person was wrong. It's a consensus like Mac's ranking compilation.

if these guys are legit they need a different name I thought you were posting the central scouting list that was put up in April. if someone didn't mention it was would never even knew. terrible name for your scouting agency.

I think NACS is the Eklund of the scouting world.

Oh, and if Alex Galchenyuk is still there at six I will also never post again.

The more I look at that list, the dumber it appears.
