Good god wtf happened. We were up 1 0 and I take my dog for a walk and now it's 6 2. Alvarez hasn't won what his last five and has an era of something like 5.79 in that time and it's only gonna get worse tonight. He needs a wake up call badly. If we didn't have all the arm troubles we have now I believe he would be sent down after tonight. He's lost something

At this point I certainly wouldnt call alvarez a good pitcher. Does he have potential? Sure. But he definitely needs some time in AAA to get his game back, maybe learn another pitch so he isnt so easy to hit.

Our rotation is in tatters right now with the loss of drabek and morrow.

Alvarez and Romero are both extremely hittable right now. Its time to write off the season and sell sell sell.
