Bob Mckenzie top 30 draft picks

Watched the TSN special tonight where Mckenzie outlined the top 30 prospects in order according to scouts around the NHL and found it exspecially interesting that Bob had grigorenko drop all the way to 12. Thats only 2 picks from the flames at 14! i was wondering if anyone thinks this guy will actually fall all the way to us? and if he does would you choose him over a young D like Ceci? Also say Wsh or Buf come to the potiuam and grigorenko is till on the board, do you think featser should try his best to move up those 2-3 spots to get him? or stay pat and keep our assets and hope we get someone good at 14?

IMO if grigorenko does free fall all the way to 14, feaster should absolutly take him and even if he falls to say 11, if i was featser i would trade up. It wouldnt take That much to move up 3 spots and this kid all though there are reports he doesnt care enough, if he can get his head in the game he has the ability to become our future
1C: yo:

Ex:
flames trade:
14th, nemisez, rights to jokinen cond 3rd (if jokinen does not sign)
TO
Washington for
11 cond 5th (if jokinen does not sign and the flames give the caps a 3rd)

Man, after Nail it really is a crap shoot for who goes when. The rankings are always changing. Pearson has moved up ten spots in the last month or two.

Yeah, from everything I've heard about Ceci being a 'Doughty-lite' type player, I think that's exactly what we need. Unless we're able to move up and get Reilly or Reinhart or Dumba, I think Ceci is the best bet.

He had us pass of Grigs. No way that happens. Regardless of the connection between Sven and Pouliot

Agreed. If Grigorenko is available at #14, Feaster grabs him. I don't know if Feaster takes Pouliot over Girgensons, either.

I am adamant about no Russians but even I would take Grigerenko if available, especially if he is possibly NHL ready

The Mock draft was a joke. Who in their right mind was like:
"We need credibility here, quickly, grab the guy who has a prospect list that looks all kinds of screwed up compared to every major scout. Now, grab one of the biggest jokes in NHL broadcasting. Quickly! Put them together and let them decide what each team takes! These are winners damnit!"

When they said Pouliot for Calgary, I almost immediately started to rant at my TV on how bad this mock draft was. It caused my girlfriend to give me "Oh please, I don't care" look. When they had Grigorenko going so late, I was actually disgusted.

That kid can easily be a top line center in the NHL someday, someday not very far. 6ft3, 200 pounds at 18 <3, yes please.

That was the worst rationale given - that the Flames know the Portland Winterhawks well due to Sven Baerstchi, so Pouliot is the pick.

At 20 years of age he'd better be NHL ready...

If someone has the final results I'd like to see them.

I was disgusted that they had us pass over grigorenko but even more disgusted when they had us choosing pouilot. Too me this guy looks like nothing more than a future babchuck. Stuck on the 3rd pairing and defensive liability. I would almost take anyone else from this mock draft over pouilot.

why exactly do you think anyone will take you seriously? You just proposed Bouwmeester straight up for Kubina's rights on the trade board.
