I guess it depends what's done in Free Agency, but I don't know that the Oilers are in a position to be moving out any more of their top-4 defensemen, that said Subban can play a little.

I don't think we have to worry about Smid leaving. He seems to really like it here.

Montreal can ask, doesn't mean Edmonton has to give it to them.

What about one of Teubert, Marincin, Gernat or even Klefbom?

Especially if a right-handed, offensive defenseman is coming in. It kind of makes Petry a little redundant compared to Smid.

How is this hate? Ott is a very rare talent that fills holes on this team.

Perhaps a little bit of overreaction by gregor. This tweet from the Team.

ext from Murray's agent Rick Valette re: Oilers/Murray "I haven't talked to them for a while now. I think they have all info they need"

Not you particularly but a lot of people have tried to run Gagner out of town many times.

Yeah, considering all the secrecy the Oilers like to have even hours before the draft I can't see them tipping their hand by talking to any agents right now.

Would it have been nice if we would have taken Subban instead of Alex Plante....

Weird timing as well. Did Edmonton tell him they weren't taking Yakupov or something? Who knows.

They probably told him to f-off. He seems needy.
