So far what's happened to Grigo
Hurts Ankle and keeps playing = He quit on his team Gets 10p in 11 GP in the playoffs = Disappeared in the playoffs Plays through Mono in the playoffs = Lazy Russian Random Person on a forum says he's 20years old = Its a fact now
Same rumors applied to a Canadian Hurts Ankle and keeps playing = Never quits Gets 10p in 11 GP in the playoffs = Unbelievable performance Plays through Mono in the playoffs = Determined player who plays through the pain Random Person on a forum says he's 20years old = Never even talked about because of how ridiculous it is
Now lets Compare to Galchenyuk
Grigo is 6'3, Galchenyuk claimed to be 6'2 and was measured at 6'0.5
Grigo's best season 59GP 85 PTS +35, Galchenyuk's: 65GP 83 PTS -8
Grigo's playoff: 11 GP 10 PTS, Galchenyuk's 6GP 4 PTS
Grigo's linemate is not Yakupov, Galchenyuk's linemate is Yakupov
Grigo couldn't compete well at the combine, Galchenyuk performed well there
Therefore, Galchenyuk > Grigorenko.
I don't know about you, but if Grigorenko was only playing at 50% last year or 75% and he put up those numbers, that's who I'd want on my team..
I'll add my own,
Grigorenko is a kid from far eastern Russian with little hockey roots
Galchenyuk had his way paved by his dad who is an ex-pro hockey player, and his agent is Larionov = HYPE
