I don't think Colorado touches that with a 10 foot poll.

I can't see Schenn traded now. Brothers will rule Philly.

I'd LOVE to see a Schenn, Schenn & Read for Ryan + trade.

Ducks definitely do the Avs offer. The Avs definitely don't.

I wouldn't trade Landeskog or O'Reilly straight up for Ryan.

COL wouldn't trade Landeskog for Ryan straight up. Doubtful if they even would do O'Reilly in a package.

Avs get ****ed. Wild might do the second. Don't see how that really helps Anaheim, though. A good energy player in Clutterbuck, what is essentially a reclamation project in Seto and a 1st rounder next year?

Flyers still have pieces to work with.

Voracek
Meszaros
Read
2013 1st
etc
etc

If Homer can get Luke Schenn AND somehow pry away Bobby Ryan without including Couturier (now ruling out Brayden being traded completely)... then he will have redeemed himself of the Richards debacle in my eyes.

Just depends on if Murray rates any of the above pieces. I REALLY don't want to trade Jake, but if Ryan is to happen Voracek is now a must have must need in order to get a deal in motion.

I should read my posts before I publish them. I meant to add a "Ryan + if necessary"

Fixed.

This is really something I could see happening for Ryan. Ducks fans probably would lament the non-inclusion of Couturier and Flyer Fans probably would rant on giving up too much.

But at the end of the day, this seems like a deal that could go through IMO. Ducks get a C in Read, a young D and pretty much a slight downgrade to Ryan. Flyers add a multiple 30 goal scorer, who will score 50 with Giroux IMO without giving up key pieces.

Which is why I think a trade for Nash will eventually happen ... the asking price right now is just STUPID but it WILL come down, it has to if he wants to move him. Ryan is younger making less money and doesn't have a NMC so we would most likely have to give up either one of our top 6 fwds OR top 4 d men PLUS.

Just to clarify, this is the same GM that signed Wade Redden, Scott Gomez, and Chris Drury to long-term, $6.5+M/year deals, right?

Ducks fans:

My last proposal was received with mix results for Bobby Ryan.

After reading through the list of players our GM has deemed untouchable I put together a proposal I want to get an opinion on.

Artem Anisimov
Carl Hagelin (or prospect)
MDZ
1st Round Pick

Bobby Ryan

I know originally MDZ wasn't really needed on your team, but it appears there's a spot now with Lubo gone. Artie can be a good 2nd line center, and Hagelin is one of the fastest guys on our team that is a good grinder and can score 15-20 goals.

Does that interest you at all?

Coturier has to he included or it has to be even larger overpayment.

The Aves laugh at the first offer. I would do the Minny deal but I dont know if Minny does it.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but from LeBrun
Quote:
But what might frustrate the Rangers to a degree is that Parise has said he won’t sign with them. He wouldn’t do that to the Devils. Thus, New York isn’t terribly thrilled this Nash thing is dragging out, although not nearly as annoyed as the Nash camp itself. In a smart move, the Rangers opened a dialogue with Anaheim on winger Bobby Ryan.

I think the Flyers, even though they have the pieces, may have taken a hit once they dealt JVR.

I think the Rangers could really snag him if Murray is willing to deal. Please!!!!!!!!
