let it play out. all weber needs is a slump and the philly faithful will boo him out of town.
remember that weber's frame of reference is playing in nashville where his mistakes are immediately forgiven and forgotten. better players than shea weber have been destroyed at the hands of the flyer's media and fan base.

Name them.

In terms of current players at least, I'd say the following are better than Weber: Crosby, Malkin, Stamkos, Datsyuk. Which of those were destroyed by the Flyers media/fans? Or are you talking about historically?

Weber over Ovechkin?

Disagree with the list if you want. Add him. Hell, add the Sedins, Rinne, Giroux, Kovy and Hossa. Those still aren't Flyers that have been destroyed by the fans/media.

Maybe we can join the KHL? We'd be competitive and Semin would be more likely to sign w/ us.

Good comp for Johansson next year. I wish it had come in a little lower.
It was second extension for Gagner and he had right to salary arbitration.
First one with caphit ~2.275M he signed two years ago, when he also had stats comparable to Johansson's.

Have you looked at Webers numbers, he's never made the case he was their best player in the playoffs, sounds like Bryzgalov doesn't it?

Nash to the Rangers is apparently going down now. Interesting to see the price.

Here is hoping the Rangers overpay. I hope Kreider goes back to Columbus.

If Dubinsky is the headliner then it's a big win for the Rangers. We'll see.

I really don't know what price I would consider a good deal for the Rags. Not a huge fan of Nash the player, and his contract is pretty inflated.

Dubinsky, Erixson and 1st believed to be 3 of 4 pieces included in Nash trade.

Anisimov is the fourth piece per McKenzie.

Yeah, way to buckle. Though with CBJ's depth on defense now they may not be done.

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie
Artem Anisimov is the 4th piece in the Rick Nash deal.

No Kreider, Stepan, Del Zotto, or McDonagh.

Pretty epic failure by Howson.
