http://wild.nhl.com/club/schedule.htm

(You may need to select 2012-2013 from the dropdown)

First reaction: late start can't be a good sign for CBA... on the other hand, it minimizes the risk of missing actual games.

Only get the Jets as a road game, unfortunately. Was hoping that the home/home would continue at least until realignment.

13 Nov @ Flyers

All ****ing 6PM games, too. (Except the Devils, which is a Saturday 4PM game.) Gross.

Well the back to backs, as usual, feature a number of ridiculous distances between games one and two.

And another year in the worthless northwest division.

Thanks a lot, Donald Fehr.

I kind of hope that the first thing the league does if it locks out the players, even for a day, is release an updated schedule that forces the relocation on the league for this coming season.

At least we get some central time road games before January this season.

Frankly, I'm taking the schedule with a "grain of salt" right now...

It is in pencil, not ink.

While I am worried about a delay to the start of the season, one of the reasons why I think that the schedule is in pencil is primarily Phoenix.

The sale is not going to go through, and they are going to be relocated on very, very short notice.

That means that the schedule will need to be re-done anyway.

i also don't buy the BS about not having a different schedule in their pocket if re-alignment happens during the conversation.

Rumor is that Winnipeg really struggled to get things prepared in time for the Jets' season...and that was with the framework for an AHL team that was basically run like an NHL team already in place. It's already a month past the time when TNSE took over the Thrashers last year.

This, we're well past the point where Quebecor could get the resources in place for an NHL team to survive a season. Sale or no sale, the team will almost certainly be in Phoenix next year. It's not like that would have any meaningful effect upon the schedule anyway.

November looks brutal. I'm also not happy with some of the back to backs this year. Sat-Sun should not happen away.

Pros:
-For the second straight year, no long HS Tourney/Final Five trip in March.
-Aren't waiting two months for a Central Time Zone road game.
-Mikael Granlund. That's always a pro.
-Keeping the traditional home post-Thanksgiving, post-Christmas and New Year's Eve early starts.

Cons:
-No Winnipeg. Even if you don't like using the "r" word that's a con financially.
-In fact, the teams that don't come to the X are the Jets, both Eastern Conference Finalists, Boston (last Stanley Cup winner from the East/own them for some reason), Tampa Bay (Stamkos) and Carolina (Staal). Trade the Hurricanes for a healthy Crosby and that's the worst-case scenario for selling tickets.
-The 6 game road trip in the beginning of November has a 4 day stretch where the Wild go from Madison Square Garden to Detroit back to the Rock. Why?
-Also a Denver to Nashville back-to-back.

I will be going to both games in Dallas. I hope the season starts on time with the first Wild game @ Dallas being on 10/18.

Is it too late to call up Winnipeg and swap schedules with them?

A year in the Eastern Conference rather than another year languishing in the Northwest?

I'd take that any day of the week.

I would be shocked if January 19th isn't Hockey Day Minnesota. Wild play Pittsburgh at home and Gophers face North Dakota at Mariucci.

Was really dissapointed to not be able to attend a game in Mini cant wait for realignment for that reason.
