I think the Swedish fascination has to stop at on point.

Draft Koekkoek!

I don't know, he sounds too foreign too. Better go with Tom Wilson.

According to Mackenzie Ollie Maata is NHL ready, I doubt he will be available by the time the Sens pick, unless they trade up. If not him Lindholm or Grigorenko(?) would also be excellent choices.

Don't troll us Murray by trading the pick this year for a player picked last year, it's very anti-climatic, though it turned out amazing last time.

I'm interested in seeing who goes where, but I'm nowhere near as excited as last year's draft. Maybe it's because of the uncertainty as to whether we'll even own the pick come draft time.

Agreed, seems like trade talk has taken over this board from draft talk, having the 6th & 21st overall pick last year I'm sure helped as well

I guess I was just confused because there was no date on this thing.

Anyway, my order is still the same:

Grigorenko
Gaunce
Collberg

Any of those three would be great for us. Particularly Grigorenko who could become as good as Spezza one day.

More interviews with players on the Sens site, players include Ceci, Maata, Faksa and Subban.

Whoever we draft he better become a top 4 dman within two years.

Cowen took three years what a bust. At least we traded Rundblad before he could disappoint us.

By far the most disappointing draft moment ever. It turned out great, I even like the trade at the time but man is it disappointing to wait for the draft, you're all hyped up when it starts, you make sure not to miss your team's selection and then they trade it away.

That's not very smart - he's 18 years old. How can the MODs let you blatantly lie? As for "lazy" - Craig Button has him ranked lower than most and even he describes him as a two-way forward...

Yeah there is a rumor. I bet that rumor wouldn't exist if he were Swedish - corey pronman puts no stock in the rumor so you shouldn't either. He's too big, strong and talented - he couldn't be 18.... teams that pass on him are gonna regret it if he stays in NA

Would suck, like all 3 of them. I also hope we trade up/get a pick for the second round. I really like Andrei Vasilevski, and I think he will drop to early second round which I hope we're able to get him in. He was awesome in WJC.

How would you feel if we traded this years 1st to Columbus for their next years first as perhaps a part of a Nash trade? Is a chance at McKinnon or Monahan or a similar outstanding prospect next year worth the risk/wait?
