well, you gotta b honest

you can't really expect much from the Leafs if they aren't going to put a fight against 29 NHL teams

People are just spoiled these days. When I was growing up in Eastern Ontario in the 70s, we got to watch the Leafs about once every two weeks on a Saturday night. If we were lucky, we might be able to pick up the games on the radio (if they were playing a US team whose signal we could get).

It's actually a valid point about the Leafs playing at 1:00 PM on a holiday for Americans when a lot of Leafs fans might not get to watch that specifc game. Saying fans today are spoiled is not fair because in the past the NHL has selected two Americans teams to play each other on Martin Luther King Day, so it does seem strange that the Bruins or the NHL thought why not play Toronto that day when a lot of us might not get to watch it.

My comments may not be fair, but neither is life. Live with it. To me, the worst thing about is having to see Leaf fans complain about it on these boards for the next 7 months.

I can't speak for others but I won't complain about it and in my previous reply I said what I wanted to about it.

I kinda wanted to start the season on Thursday. Oh well 23 games on CBC, 59 For TSN, Sportsnet and Leafs TV to share. A 6 game road trip eek.... Hopefully we don't suffer the February curse.

Let's hope we have a good 1st half and a good 2nd half instead if one good half and a crappy half
