Erat Russian interview: "Radulov - a ticking timebomb"

Interesting Erat interview to sports.ru. He compared Radulov to a "ticking bomb...You can never guess if Rads slept well last night or not."

Erat on Bryz: "I'd prefer to play with a goalie who thinks how to stop the puck and not wonder about the Universe."

Erat: "Our team meetings are long. Very, very long. Lots of video etc. Sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's too much."
Lots of other good stuff. The google translate is rough, but it's legible.

I read this interview yesterday. Lots of great stuff-- I guess I am used to the awkward translation, having worked for a French owned company.

Read it with a Russian accent and the awkward grammar and it's pretty entertaining. It covers lots of good stuff.

No, that'd be a violation of the site rules regarding plagiarism. If someone wants to translate a portion(s) of the article, that'd be OK...

thanks!!

and im not trying to get this on the subject of trotz but...

erat has been here as long as just about any predator.. and he says he has only seen trotz angry 4 or 5 times?? huh? im not asking for him to be tortorella but geez.. talk about soft.

also note even as professional as erat is and has been.. even he says "meetings are too long"... if this is coming from erat a guy that signed a long term (somewhat) deal, i wonder what the other guys think about trotz truthfully.

these comments point to trotz message possibly getting old IMHO

That's a pretty drastic leap to make from a couple of pretty benign comments.

take it as you may...

but erat saying he has seen trotz angry five times in his career? meetings are too long?

im just saying such things could possibly point to players getting tired of trotz. i dont think its that farfetched.

but i see why you think im taking ordinary comments and turning into something else. i see my point of view as well

I took the same thing, the long-term players may tune out from Trotz more often these days. It's hard to say what's normal in this situation since it's such a rare thing to have a coach this long.

None of it matter though, Poile isn't tuning out Trotz and that's the only opinion that really matters.

What level of "anger" is Erat talking about? Ranting? Throwing things? Requiring restraint? Agitated?

I could read into your statements just as much as it appears you have into Erat's and post some remarkable, and probably very incorrect, conclusions.
