Ludvig Bystrom or Brady Skjei for me. Koekkoek would be fine, but that torn shoulder labrum he suffered worries me. Pitchers who get the surgery done are never the same as they lose some mobility and strength in the shoulder. I know Koekkoek isn't a pitcher, but his shoulders are going to take abuse from the position he plays. I'd shy away from a major injury like that.
Actually what I'd like to hear is Bettman say something like "the flyers have traded the 20th overall pick etc. to the Nashville predators for the rights to Ryan suter, Nashville you're on the board"

I wouldn't. That would be a massive, massive overpayment for a guy's rights.

I would puke if he said that! Everyone knows he isn't signing in Philly anyway. So why trade anything for the rights for him to tell us that? I would do something like this: 1st in 2013 if Suter is signed, 4th in 2013 if he doesn't.

1. a 1st round pick is an overpayment
2. we wouldn't make that trade if we weren't SURE he'd sign with us

Well I assume homer wouldn't make the trade unless he was pretty confident that suter would sign. In that case, I'd be willing to sacrifice that pick, especially since I don't see this being an exceptionally strong draft outside the top 5-7
I'd like to seem them move up and grab Griffin Reinhart if he starts falling. Reinhart is a 6-4 Defenseman. Statistically in 58 games last season he posted a +/- of 23 and 38 points.

Not me. I tinker with the defense this year then go balls to the wall next year for Weber.
But if we have the 20th pick I go with the following:
1. Brady Skjei
2. Slater Koekkoek
3. Thomas Hertl
4. Colton Sissons
5. Scott Laughton
I would be happy with any of these young men in Orange and Black at #20.

I love reinhart, but unfortunately for us, I see him going higher than he's ranked if anything.
