This is an absolute steal folks, he was as high as 11 on some lists.

This is like an additional 1st.

I'm just loling at all the Leafs fans blindly supporting Burke. Its tough to hate your own fanbase...

I remember a lot of people saying he could go top 15. Can't really be surprised here.

Good pick.

Go with BPA **** positional needs. We can trade to fill that.

Once upon a time, Finn was considered a top-10 prospect.

No such thing as "obvious" here in leaf land. I'm think franson is on the outs.. Better not deal Luke!

Good pick after collberg went to the scabs

Burkes goal: Always draft bpa, then trade for current needs.

BPA at 35

Queue the marketing hype, "We couldn't believe he was available. We had him ranked in the top 10."

Keon was considered one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, and one of the best defensive forwards of his era.[3] He would usually play against the opposing team's top centre, and developed a reputation for neutralizing some of the league's top scorers. In 197071, he scored eight shorthanded goals, setting an NHL record.

I'm sure there is going to be BPA centers at 156 and 157. Strength down the middle you know.

Definitely BPA. I wanted Frk with the pick, but with Finn on the board, you have to go BPA in that situation.

I had Finn in there with the other defencemen that might have gone in the 1st rd. Percy, Finn, Rielly, Gardiner, Blacker, very solid.

Sounds like he projects to be Carl Gunnarsson.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Burke move an asset to get Gemel Smith slides deeper into the 2nd rd.
