Apparently on the block yet again. I know he's not the most popular player among Bruins fans but he'd be PERFECT with Kelly and Peverley on the third line IMO. No idea what it would cost though.
Redundant with the club as currently constituted. Not worth the likely asking price either, whatever it is.
Was never a fan of his antics myself, but history with the Bruins aside, he wouldn't be a good fit. Add in said history with some of the established players here and it would be a terrible idea.

Uh, yeah I'd love him on the third line course he is a punk but he'd be our punk. Marchand can't play on both the second AND the third. How old is Ott though (he's always looked freakin 50)?
Thinking Ott is a good player and wanting him (assuming our GM thinks its a good idea) puts me in the minority.
I would get Ott just to keep him off Vancouver also I think we are gonna have to go through them again if we want another Cup I can just feel it.
This locker room could handle a bad apple or two if the decision makers in the organization think that won't be an issue and he can fit in I think I'll ignore folks on message boards demanding otherwise.
I sort of respected him for starting all those fights one game against us, you got to have balls to do that and his team was terrible at the time and completely over matched but Ott was willing to take a serious beating to try and get them into the game.
I don't like it, I would rather see Jordan Caron earn that spot and he won't get the chance if the Bruins add a vet. If they were going to add a vet I would want to see it be Whitney, Doan, Jagr, or Smyth rather than give something up for brave Steve.
