So, we just got home and now were watching an episode of Suits, but I cant pay attention to it cause all I'm thinking about is the draft.

A little different watching the draft on TV this year. It was really cool seeing it live last year.

If we move, it better not be up. Galchenyuk and Yakupov are the only ones worth moving up for and they're both gone in the top 3.

For who? and you do realize how much that will cost.

this isn't the strongest draft and the top picks will come at a premium. We are talking about trading a top prospect and or next years first round pick....

HELL NO! Stay at #7 or move down, moving up makes zero sense as of now (pending who falls to Burke or the Ducks) but again, will cost HUGE $$$$$$$$$$

Honestly, anybody, just as long as you get into that top-3, maybe top-4. Specific names don't matter, just get one of the top-3 prospects.

Either way I don't want us to stay at #7. It's part of the sucker hole. Trade down if you can't trade up.

and you are willing to give up next years first round pick to do this and a prospect???

next year has 4 ELITE level prospects in it. Yakupov would be the 4th or 5th pick in next years draft........ Even thou I doubt we are close to that bad in 2012-2013 but you do NOT trade that pick for anything!

People say that every year. 'Next year is gonna be deep'. No one ever truly knows.

I don't even know where to begin. I mean, the 3rd player in the "top 3" could be any one of 4 or 5 different guys...

The 4th player could be any one of 6-7 different guys.

What the...?

Exactly, also Yakupov would almost certainly be 2nd. MacKinnon is over him, but that's it.

Plus, at some point we're going to reach a point where we need to start making moves to win now.

Don't forget we will create a thread for each Wild draftee to talk about them individually.

Anyone have a stream yet? Anxiously awaiting the draft in this rental. Gal is pleased.

Will say this: I'd rather have the 28th pick last year than this year. Good move by Fletcher on that end.
