I think the only thing it does is gives up the option of BPA. We don't need to go for a Center who can play now or in a year or 2.

Say Forsberg and Grigs were there at 11. Instead of having to go Grigs, as we need Center depth, we could think of Forsberg as we should have a guy to fill the void for a year or 2.

I'd be happy with any of the 5. Ideally not Dumba. He's too small to play his style in the NHL. He might work out, but he has to adapt, which is always a risk. I'm also wary about taking a 165 pound defenseman with not a ton of room to grow.

Wow out of left field. Theres going to be someone we didnt think we could get at 11. My god let Forsberg fall to 11. What a dream that would be!

More scared than ever of Grigs. Lots of scouts and GMs have seen him and they are passing...

Wow. Way out of left field. I wanted Lindholm later, but I love what this does to everyone else on the board of course.

At the very least, Dumba and Trouba as well.

I don't get why people when bashing players bring up alcohol consumption, but when they don't drink it, which is a good thing, people bash them also.

They probably felt he would be picked if they traded down.

I'm telling you all, be prepared for one of those players you are coveting(like Grigs or Forsberg) to fall into our lap and GMGM goes off the radar with someone rated way lower... it will make us all want to stab our eyes out with rusty forks, but be ready for it.

Maybe, maybe not. After the top three guys (or so), scouts/GMs seemed to have wildly divergent opinions. It's entirely possible someone else would have nabbed him in the top ten.

I already called out Ribeiro's faceoff work Sk8. No need to pile on...

I feel like it'll be Dumba. I'm probably completely wrong though.

It seems like Trouba will be there, and if he's not, it's only helping the forward depth. This is ridiculous. I couldn't be happier right now.
