trying to keep you guys up to date on trade front:
"There's been a lot of tire-kicking, a lot of conversation. It's no different than normal for a pre-draft day. There's been some conversations with a lot of teams about a lot of situations, but nothing concrete," Tallon said after arriving at the team hotel.
"We're just seeing what's out there and what's going and trying to stay on top of the situation."
Dreger said that garrison could be traded this weekend,( obvi.) He said our ceiling is probably 3-3.5m, and hes heard that if gary hits the open market, hell get at least 5m and 5
Yrs. Bye gary, i like you but youre not worth that much. Enjoy the big payday.
Dreger also said that tallon has had extensive talks with gillis about luongo, but gillis doesnt want to take bad contract back.
If Garrison's leaving, I'm not too thrilled with our D-core next year. I know plenty think we have the depth and that it was just a career year for Garrison, but I think he's a key piece of the D-core.
Kulikov is still young and prone to mistakes. Gudbranson, inexperienced. Ellerby is inconsistent. Weaver is who he is.
If we don't trade for a D-man, we need to sign a D-man who can sort of replace Garrison's production.
