Let the dominoes fall!

Good pickup for the Jackets.

It's like he's trying to bomb that team before he gets fired.

Picks are insignificant. They have almost no value. And the backup is not really expensive.

Those picks would've been wasted by CBJ anyways.

I feel like its slight overpay but if thats the price of getting your young future goaltender than good on CBJ.

If my team was in need of a future number 1 id give up those picks. Bob has looked solid at times, moreso last year than this year, but well worth the risk.

Seems like most people are assuming this means Mason will be dealt...is there no chance Columbus runs with a Bobrovsky/Mason tandem? It wouldn't be a terrible situation to have two young goalies pushing each other as opposed to having Mason struggling and no other option.

LOL at all the people going off the deepend.

We don't even know which picks, with the exception of the 45th overall....in a weak draft.

I hope Scott Howson knows what he is doing; Holmgren probably wanted Bob off his hands after his post-ASB performance---worst in the league.

We will have to wait and see where all these dominos fall into place, but right now this is a win for Philly. Bob has had his moments, but at that price I think it's time to send Howson packing and either move the team to Quebec or find new management.

?
Sanford was great last year for CBJ.
2.60 GAA, and a .911 save %

For this year's draft? NHL teams barely have a consensus number 1 overall pick. And after the draft gets to about the 12 spot, it appears to be a complete and utter crapshoot. I don't see how a middle of the second round pick holds such an enormous amount of value. If more than 5 teams get a decent player out of the second round of this year's draft it will most likely be a miracle.

On a powerhouse team with Pronger (until last year).
