These.

Also, I was at a Washington-Ottawa game in February. I was thrilled Washington looked so horrible, stating, "There's no chance this team makes the playoffs. They're going to be passed by the Leafs by the end of the week". We feel apart and they were a game away from the Conference Finals.

Grabovski? Are you kidding me? A heartless Montreal reject. Wtf!!!

Now I think he is nailed on as our 2nd line center (even do we don't have a first liner...) and see him as one of the players who play the hardest with most passion.

Jimmy Howard is terrible after his sophomore slump and was open to signing pretty much anyone to take his spot. Very happy I was wrong but now feel weird defending him in Wings threads.

On general NHL stuff from last year I absolutely thought Phoenix was lottery bound.

At the beginning of the playoffs my brotherinlaw called and asked what I thought of his hockey pool picks (he tried to load up on what was available from the 'Nucks, and went almost exclusively with NJ Devil players for the rest of his team)...
He's not a hard core fan, so wanted my opinion...
I told him the Calgary Flames had as good a shot as making it to the finals as the Devils did.

He won his pool.

Recent wrongs include thinking radulov would lead the preds to the cup. I also thought bogosian was garbage but it looks like he's gotten back on track now.

Devils are gonna go bankrupt after Kovalchuk's lousy first full season with the team.

I though the Devils would go nowhere in this years playoffs.

Happily wrong about that.

"We traded Samuelsson for Booth?! Hallelujah, the perfect winger for Kesler!"

Setting aside Kesler came back early from injury and now training, and that Booth had to get used the Vancouver system, in retrospect it seems all too obvious how useful Samuelsson was to Kesler and the rest of the team.

I thought the Sens were a shoe-in lottery team this year and the Leafs would make the playoffs

Funny how that worked out

Thought Berezin was a franchise player, bought his jersey and got it signed.

Was wrong about Karlsson on OTT. Thought he would only get 77 points this season.

I remember thinking, back when Stamkos was drafted, Tavares was an upcoming phenom, and hfboards was full of whispers of how incredible some Hall kid was, that it was too bad the Oilers would never be bad enough to draft true stars and would forever be trapped in mediocrity. How wrong was I.

As a Coyotes fan i thought we would be nothing after we lost Bryzgalov, and that Bryz would absolutely thrive in the East.

I had little to no confidence in Mike Smith

I thought Kyle Turris was our future savior and guaranteed first line center for years to come

I never thought Mueller would leave our
franchise

I thought Enver Lisin was the **** and a future first liner

I thought Martin Hanzal would be a career fourth liner

I wanted the Coyotes to pick Kadri instead of OEL

I thought Keith Ballard was our future captain

I wanted Laviolette over Tippett

I thought Olli Jokinen was the Coyote's missing piece finally found

I was convinced that the Kings and the Coyotes were always going to be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs

I thought Hulsizer was going to be our owner last year

I thought this whole ownership mess would be over with last year

I prefer hot sauce with my crow.

mine is a bit of a stretch compared to most, but "Kovalev for a 7th? What a steal. He'll catch a hot streak and should work out for the Pens, even if it's just for the playoffs."

After last season, never thought Brodeur would make it back to the Stanley cup final.
