I might be the biggest Sather hater here, but that's not fair. Easy to be a good GM when you are gift wrapped two Hart winners.

Kings re-sign Jarret Stoll per @darenmillard, 3.09M cap hit for 3 years
Good deal for both sides.

They were apparently prepared to lock up Staal at a $6m cap hit for 10 years. I think they definitely could fit Parise--especially if they move Martin like they are apparently trying to do.

Yep, our traumatized fanbase doesn't want to part with prospects (THE KIDS) and rest our hopes on winning 2-1 until King Henrik retires !!! Love that brand of hockey !!!

Parise is going to cost more than $6M per they were willing to pay Staal.

I am not afraid of the Pens, their D is still iffy and they have Fleury in goal.

Minnesota has cleared a ton of space for him.

You don't sound like a Sather hater; face facts, the guy is stealing money from the organization and he hasn't done a blessed thing in 20+ years. Time for him to get the **** out already!

WRONG! They lost nothing because Brandon Sutter will pot 30+ goals blindfolded playing with Crosby or Malkin. They will sign Parise, book it.

He didn't build up this team which just made it to the ECF with an average age of mid 20's. Some people

The Rangers window is now, let's hope Sather makes a move to address our unquestionable need for scoring. I'd rather not rest my hopes on some 20-23 y/o kids developing into immediate impact players at the NHL level. Sucks long term, but you have to give to get if you want to take advantage of the current make-up of this team....
