We are definitely starting to see that now. I'm wondering how far Forsberg and Grigs will drop.

Wait, you're telling me a player drafted by the Leafs is being chirped on the main boards?

I'm shocked!

Forsberg seems obvious for Pitts.

What a waste.
Always love people who don't see these prospects day in and day out!! I thought the Leafs would take Forsberg. But the Leaf scouts took what they see as the BPA...I am totally fine with it!

BPA is always the way to go!

Oh shut it you babies. This kid has the highest ceiling out of the defenders. Higher ceiling than Forsberg. He's also just as hard working as Gally.

I would have liked a forward but we went with the highest potential for once which I like.

So why didn't the Ducks take Forsberg??? Should have been a no brainer at 6...what do we know!!!

Seeing Forsberg and Grigs drop makes me kind of glad we went with one of the highest upside d-men in the draft

Burke is stubborn and just won't take a European that high. Good to see we are building a good defense. Now we gotta get a goalie..................Subban!!!!

Just looked him up and he seems to be VERY fit and has a work ethic that rivals Gally's. He might only need one.

Nothing wrong with this pick. I wanted Forsberg or Grigorenko, but I assume that I'm like most posters on here and just read reports all month leading up. You can get swept up in it, but these scout's job is to watch these guys all year and their opinion is much more educated than ours. Rielly looks like a great defenceman and having a smooth transition game is so important for your offence. They will just have to get a #1 C in another way... they obviously felt that Grigorenko was not fit for it..

Where do you get this stuff...You think that Burke would Pass up Forsberg because he is a swede??? Really?....seriously???

Man so many people talk out of thier ....you know what I mean...how about you might believe that Burke and his scouts took the BPA? Is that to hard to comprehend???

Insane potential. This was the BPA. As burke said earlier, he was THINKING about drafting for need but this is definitively the BPA.

Rielly was a good pick, but the Leafs future is bleak if they are unable to get anything close to an elite center.

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.
