Talks a lot about being good defensively is the #1 important thing for him. We heard similar last year too though, and we all see how that turned out.
Yawn. I like his interview with Bob and Dan better. Heh.

Just going to leave this article about Ribeiro here. I couldn't be happier for the guy.

That was nice to read, I actually had no idea about his divorce until the offseason. It probably explains why he had such a rocky couple of seasons. Ribs is one of my favorite Dallas Stars so it's good that he's tearing it up. It's not surprising in the weak southeast division with his skills and the guys he plays with.

Glad to see Ribs having success, he deserves it.

I decided to look at the first few pages of this thread and everyone was panicking that Joe screwed us over again. What do you think of it now? I'm loving Eakin but do you think he will ever be a second line center for us or just a really good number 3 center that could jump in on the second line from time to time?

Oates is pretty much the perfect coach for Ribeiro, too. They see the ice pretty similarly.

He'll always be one of my favorite Stars players. Good article. I hope he gets a nice contract this offseason.

He was one of the few guys who made games entertaining during some very ugly seasons.

Happy he's enjoying Washington. Definitely one of my favorite post-2005 lockout Stars.
