The pens pick Taylor Pyatt off Waivers

as per Dreager:

@DarrenDreger
Waivers: CGY, C.Breen clears Waivers. PIT claims T.Pyatt off waivers from NYR. MN places Z.Konopka on Waivers.

If he replaces Conner, Gibbons, Kobasew, Glass or Adams in a bottom 6 spot I'm cool with trying it. If he replaces Sill I am not happy about this at all.

TBH I'd pick up Kono too, if he falls to us.

I'd also waive Gladams, but we all know that will never happen.

We've found Crosby's winger!

Would've picked up Konopka myself.

Don't worry ladies, Pyatt's cap hit is only $1,550,000!!!

http://www.capgeek.com/player/673

Luckily, he's a UFA @ season's end.

I dunno about this move, that 1.5 million eats up a good portion of our available cap space.

He will, but I still think he's a guy the Pens are happy with given his recent promotion. When we are healthy, I'll worry. Vitale isn't sitting before Conner or Gibbons at least.

everyone calm down. he'll play about 5-10 games with the Pens and then be gone and forgotten.

Or worst case scenerio is he becomes Craig Adams II and hell stick around for 6 or 7 years.
