It looks like most of the remaining teams didn't even take a look at Forsberg because the draft staff were sure he would not be available... But that's just a guess...

caps have a chance to nail it at 11 and then scoop up another steal at 17, this after robbing ribeiro from dallas.

come on, hockey gods...

He is easily the safest pick in the draft and he's close to playing.
Good defensive skill, good leadership, vision and composure. All around, he already is a good player.

These D picks still have so much unknown attached to them and none, imo, have as much upside.

Caps drafting 17? When did they trade the 16th to SJ?

In all honesty though, Washington is way too well positioned with 11 and 16, especially with so many great forwards left.

Is there any D left for them though. lol

I think most thought there would be about 5 forwards picked in the top 10(so Tampa would sweep in and grab one of the left over defensemen).

Send a message via AIM to BillyShoe1721
Philadelphia is working the phones, looking to move up to get Tervainen or Forsberg.

So uh 7 of 9 of the players drafted so far have been blonde hair blue eyed.

ADL is gonna start making accusations.
