Lehner needs the competition to keep him motivated. He had a bit of a sense of entitlement towards to Ottawa net. Now he'll have to work for it.

I agree, plus look how Washington was for goalies for a while there. They flipped Varlamov for a first (Thomas Wilson) and still have 2 young goalies in Neuvirth and Holtby. Perfect model to follow

His interview is up on Sens TV (in french). He looks exactly like a young Antoine Vermette. Looks like we have a potential heart breaker in the system.
