I know, I am quite dissapointed, we'll have to wait another week to see any movement. Good on Pitt for not waiting to pull the trigger on a trade.

Turning 19 in December. Otherwise he would've been eligible last year.

He played real well on a weak Omaha team. The Flames are still very high on him.

All my Canucks friends wanted Laughton and thought he'd be around..
But my guess is Gaunce now. He's the physical 2-way centre they need. He'd be a good asset for them going forward.

Nope. Sutter is finally going to be in the spotlight and will finally show people how amazing a shut down centre he is.

Not as arrogant and hot headed as he looks. Usually pretty calm and polite during interviews.

One day, Sutter will be one of the Top 3 Shutdowns in the entire NHL.

Why do they think every player is special and a superstar. I think TSN execs just encourage them to sound positive and optimistic for the viewers.

I agree that Sutter is an up and coming talent, but Staal was much much more than a shutdown 3rd line center.
Without Staal, specially through the injuries to Malkin and Crosby, I doubt the Pens are anywhere near as successful.
Sutter is going to be good, but he isn't close to Staal yet, and probably never will be.

Dear God,
Please allow Bryan Murray and the Ottawa Senators to see into the true potential of Jesse Graham and draft him with our 3rd Round Pick tomorrow.
He will one day be a Top 4 defenceman.

bingo. They traded a star for a decent player and a pick that may turn into a decent player, but probably not a star. Can't help but think that Ottawa could have offered more.

Asst. GM Tim Murray tells @TEAM1200Ottawa #Sens will make some calls to see what it will take to get a second-round pick tomorrow. #BSens
Every year the same statement when we don't have a 2nd rounder.

With prospects you don't know how high their ceiling is. To be selected top 30 out of hundreds of prospects each year is pretty special.
I'm sure only 5-10 of these prospects this round will have a significant impact on their teams, but other than the usual top 3 you just know who will rise.
