Gerbe is clearly Dobby.

Tropp is definitely Neville. Milkbag and all that.

Brian Campbell is all of the Weasleys except for Ginny and Ron.

Bryzgalov would be Luna Lovegood.

Taylor Pyatt is Ginny.

Andrew Peters could be Crabb.

Pominville would be Hermione.

Roy would be Ron.

Myers would be Hagrid.

I know really nothing about Harry Potter but I always support these goofy threads. There's only so many times people can speculate over the same hockey matters before it gets stale.

So you're saying that Harry Potter had a fake birth certificate too?
That'd explain why he was such a dominant wizard at a young age.

Also, if Lindy is Snape and Darcy is Dumbledore, that means Lindy will kill Darcy..

He's previously worn #25 (Québec, Russian international tournaments), #44 (CSKA), and #55 (Québec pre-season).

Yeah, but that player would have actually developed in America.
Galchenyuk did almost all of his development as a hockey play in Russia.
He also wore #17 at the WJC this year. It'd be nice if he wanted to cleanse that number, but #89 would be beautiful.

Not unless they get another top-6/9 NHL center. Roy is the only center in the organization who can win more than 50% of his faceoffs, play against higher level competition, and take on a good amount of defensive zone starts.

It is an unsubstantiated rumor from Damien Cox, ascribed to some random, unnamed Western Conference GM. No one else has this allegation or anything else to go along with it other than calling it bunk.

Leaf's Nation took some time to do some digging on it and has this to say:

Quote:
What we do know is this: rumors about Grigorenko’s age have been around for a few years now, to such an extent that even his former club – CSKA – decided to look into this.

‘I want my son to be respected by the club he has been with since he was seven after we’d moved from Khabarovsk,’ said Mikhail’s father, Oleg Grigorenko, to Sport-Express last summer. ‘I don’t even want to bring up everything he had to go through here. Take, for instance, this ridiculous story about his alleged fake age. They even sent guys from FSB to Khabarovsk. They tried to find something illegal but they didn’t.’

Just so we’re all clear – the FSB is the successor to the KGB. You don’t goof around with these guys.

I disagree and many others probably would also.
Murray and Yakupov are ready to move on, but Faksa and Grigorenko are probably better off with another year of junior.
Both could make at impact at 19, however.

Good catch, I forgot about that.

It's all BS.
If he had faked his age, I think he definitely would have been caught.

Plus, you can see that he's matured over the last two years, which would have already happened if he was really older.

Last year:

Beginning of this year:

A couple days ago:

His maturation seems normal to me.
Kids change a lot from 16 to 18, particularly in the face, and he has.

Looking at Bake's site he shows that the average vitals for the center position went from 5'11-3/5" , 189.6 lbs before the draft to 6'1", 193 lbs after. That is just freaking awesome.

I think there's a possibility that Roy is traded, and we get a player like Hecht. Grigs can start the season on his wing.

He was almost exactly at 50% in the Q (666/1325), so he has room for improvement.
