If who they have tweet is anything like most organizations, it's no one important tweeting and definitely not at the table with McPhee, or have information on the rankings the Caps have for different prospects.

It's much more likely that whoever just assumed it was going to be the Finn because of the rankings given by TSN and just copy pasted the name, and made a mistake.

Vasilevski has all the tools to becoming an elite goalie his movement is fast, and the only reason he probably isn't a top 10 pick is because of that Canadian surge in the third, which was just spectacular playing/TERRIBLE just terrible reffing.

This is that punk who acted like he got knocked out by Mike Green.

from Vogel's blog:

"McPhee also mentioned that he was happy with the job that Brooks Laich did as Washington’s second-line center in the playoffs, but that he felt the team needed an injection of skill into its top six forwards."

I was high on Vasilevski but you also have to consider the time it takes for goalies to develop and the fact that he is Russian.

Caps are pretty high on the young three they currently have too. I think the Russian factor was legit at this point. Might be hard to tell the kid he's fourth in line and playing ECHL and maybe AHL.

Call me crazy but I could really see us going after Ryan or Parise if Semin isn't resigned. Gotta have a scoring winger with Ribeiro if Semin doesn't get resigned.

Trolling all over the place. Subban to the B's, Matteau to the Devils. Love it.

Did you see the video of the referee watching a Russian player get sucker punched from behind and not calling it?
