Who did well in their Mocks?

I did!

So in an unpredictable draft, I beat my own record and got 8.5 picks correct. Or 9, depending on how you look at it.

1. Edm. Yakupov
3. Mtl. Galchenyuk
4. NYI. Reinhart
5. Tor. Rielly
7. Min. Dumba
12. Buf. Grigorenko
14. Buf. Girgensons (got the number right, not the team)
16. Was. Wilson
19. TB. Vasilevski

Though, Lindholm, who went 6, didn't crack my top 30

I only got 3 but I had Jankowski going 24, not quite right, but close!

I've got 24 prospects going 1st round. Not too bad.

But I am personally proud to have predicted Michael Matheson to the Florida Panthers 23rd overall..it's incredible.

1. Yakupov
2. Murray
3. Galchenyuk
7. Dumba
15. Ceci

but that was a ridiculous 1st round.
I had guys like Finn, Bystrom, Collberg in there and never would have guess, Forsberg, Teravainen or Maatta slipping or guys like Lindholm, Koekkoek or Laughton going that early.

1 EDM Yakupov, Nail
2 CBJ Murray, Ryan
3 MTL Galchenyuk, Alex
4 NYI Reinhart, Griffin
16 WAS Wilson, Thomas

I got 5 right on. Not bad for my (self-titled) "Horribly Inaccurate Mock Draft". As far as first rounders picked in the first rounder, I think I got 24/30.

Those were my correct picks:

1. Edmonton - Nail Yakupov
2. Columbus - Ryan Murray
3. Montreal - Alex Galchenyuk
4. NYIslanders - Griffin Reinhardt
24. Boston - Malcolm Subban
30. Los Angeles - Tanner Pearson

The Forsberg and Terevainen slips pretty much wrecked most of my picks between 5 and 15.

everyone failed big time, they just don't want to admit it starting at #4

Reinhart is a top 15 pick and Pouliot should be later as well.

Frk, Thrower and Collberg shouldn't be left on the board.

Got the first four and then Vancouver/Phoenix/LA. I had Grigorenko/Faksa/Girgensons in order but off by one spot. 27/30 were taken in the first round. I had Thrower going to Philly (hunch that I figured could be very wrong), and Finn/Collberg in there as well. Didn't have Subban (more of a function of misreading Tampa at #19), Jankowski (had him #35 to Toronto), and Schmaltz.

Like most folks, I think Forsberg/Teravainen were the biggest surprises.

1.Edmonton - Nail Yakupov
2.Columbus - Ryan Murray
4.NYI - Griffin Reinhardt
9.Winnipeg - Jacob Trouba
10.Tampa Bay - Slater Koekkoek
14.Buffalo - Zemgus Girgensons
19.Tampa Bay - Andrei Vasilevski

The Forsberg fall messed up all my guesses that weren't based off good fits for teams lol

Pouliot messed me up but I had a feeling Reinhart was going to the Isles.

I had

1. Yakupov
2. Murray
3. Galchenyuk
4. Reinhart
9. Trouba
14. Girgensons
15. Ceci

It was just a crapshoot for majority of the players.

I got Galchenyuk and Reinhart. But my best prediction while watching live, I said if Bryan Murray doesn't make the selection himself they would take Cody Ceci. There was no way he would say "From the Ottawa thikthy thevenths the Ottawa Thenatorth thelect Cody Thethi"

Yakupov
Murray
Galchenyuk
Samuelsson

I also had 2 half rights as I had Koekkoek and Girgensons going to Tampa and Buffalo but with their other pick.

New Jersey Devils - none, forfeit pick - in my defense, this was a good bit before their decision and I don't go back and edit my mocks. I still think it was foolish to keep the pick.

This was my mock yesterday. I wasn't very high in Forsberg and i have say here before that i see he is close to reach his potential, so IMO i would put him much lower, but i listen too much "consensus" for him. Also i put Finnish players too high, but i still think them high and i see there 2 big steal. But there is absolutely Russian factor and Finnish factor and that Finnish factor will be there that long when some Finnish player reach his potential and show that in NHL. I hope Granlund and Vatanen do that. 2 small player, if they come to great in NHL 1-2 years, maybe that Finnish factor goes away.

1. Edmonton - Nail Yakupov (-)
2 Columbus - Ryan Murray (-)
3. Montreal - Alex Galchenyuk (-)
4. New York Islanders - Griffin Reinhart (-)
5. Toronto - Mikhail Grigorenko (-7)
6. Anaheim - Filip Forsberg (-5)
7. Minnesota - Jacob Trouba (-2)
8. Carolina - Teuvo Teräväinen (-10)
9. Winnipeg - Radek Faksa (-4)
10. Tampa Bay - Mathew Dumba (+3)
11. Washington - Olli Määttä (-11)
12. Buffalo - Morgan Rielly (+7)
13. Dallas - Zemgus Girgensons (-1)
14. Calgary - Cody Ceci (-1)
15. Ottawa - Hampus Lindholm (+9)
16. Washington - Thomas Wilson (-)
17. San Jose - Brendan Gaunce (-9)
18. Chicago - Derrick Pouliot (+12)
19. Tampa Bay - Malcom Subban (-5)
20. Philadelphia - Slater Koekkoek (+10)
21. Buffalo - Matthew Finn (-?)
22. Pittsburgh - Tomas Hertl (+5)
23. Florida - Brady Skjei (-5)
24. Boston - Sebastian Collberg (-?)
25. St. Louis - Stefan Matteau (-4)
26. Vancouver - Scott Laughton (+6)
27. Phoenix - Ville Pokka (-?)
28. New York Rangers - Michael Matheson (+5)
29. New Jersey - Pontus Åberg (-?)
30. Los Angeles - Tanner Pearson (-)

So i got 6 right and some very close (Zemgus Girgensons and Cody Ceci only -1). I also was sure that Tampa will take goalie to they 2 pick, but i has there wrong goalie and Washington take little risk pick and wan't real bully there who was Thomas Wilson.

Right:

1. Edmonton - Nail Yakupov (-)
2 Columbus - Ryan Murray (-)
3. Montreal - Alex Galchenyuk (-)
4. New York Islanders - Griffin Reinhart (-)
16. Washington - Thomas Wilson (-)
30. Los Angeles - Tanner Pearson (-)
