If it starts at 8 on cbc, that means they aren't showing it live wtf? Now we will know who wins what's the point of watching?

Congrats to him! He's a hell of a player. Some guy on The Team 1260 in Edmonton said that Karlsson had 1,069 total votes, and Shea Weber had 1,057 total votes. A difference of merely 12 votes...wow! That's gotta be the closest in the history of voting for the Norris, right?

Karlsson wins the Coffey...I mean Norris Trophy. #NHLAwards #NHL #Sens

Congratulations to Erik Karlsson for giving hope to all who envision never spending a second on the PK to win the Norris Trophy.

Live feed. Tbh, I think the one people are watching are done with no real dressing up, just live feed. And then they play it back at 8 with effects and commentary. Although with the internet, you'd think they'd know that people would know instantly haha. It's the NHL though, presentation is not really their thing...

I absolutely thought Weber was going to get a make-up award for last year's Lidstrom snafu, but I ain't complainin'!

Hell yeah! The biggest individual award by a Senator, including Alfie's Calder win.

This is a new NHL record, as EK is the youngest player ever to win the Norris.

Karlsson edged Weber by a 1,069 to 1,057 vote count the second straight year Weber has lost by the slimmest of margins.
Man that was close.
