On his assist, you just see his awesome and already NHL wrister. He will need to get stronger but he has all the tools to succeed.

I talked to Collberg after the game. Needless to say, he was a pretty happy camper. Ecstatic that he got ice time.

"I didn't even realize that Kahnberg had left the game. All of a sudden Kenta told me to get in, that I was playing. It was an up-tempo game which suits me. Lundqvist and Tolsa are two really good players so I just tried having my stick ready."

"On the goal, I just threw the puck in from the wing, then it bounced back out, then I think Jari bats at it. I think it was the goalie who ended up putting it in his own net."

Patrice Brisebois and Martin Lapointe went there or atleast had a good long phone call IMO. Both have personnalities that they take everything to hearth. They were both brought in for these specific type of situations.

It would be pretty amazing if they had that kind of influence, but looking at the situation from afar, I doubt it. It seems like the coach just plugged Collberg into Kahnberg's spot after the injury, as he would have with whoever was the 13th forward.

Maybe Lapointe and Brisebois threatened Kahnberg and told him to fake an injury!

I'm just glad he gave Collberg Kahnberg's spot, it actually surprised me. I had expected him to move a fourth liner up, and put Collberg on the fourth line.

The coach commented on Collberg today that he got all the tools and that he's taken a big step this summer strength wise, but that he still needs to get stronger and protect the puck better.

From Frolunda's homepage:
Sebastian Collberg was honored to make his first point in SEL as a substitute for Magnus Kahnberg. Kahnberg was on the ice and trained today but if Collberg play tomorrow it is because of what he showed Kent Johansson.

Frolunda's coach Kenta Johansson about Collberg:
-He played great and I think he has taken another step in his development. He must become stronger and better to cover the puck, which I think he did very well last game. All other tools he has, it is the strength he needs to improve.

For our swedish colleagues:

Any good streams for Frolunda that you're aware of? I'd like to watch some SEL games.

They have a game in 2 hours. Hopefully Kahnberg takes more time to heal. Who doesn't want a day off?

And this is why you can't read anything into his offensive numbers this year if they end up being ugly once again. His ice time is clearly going to come down to injuries being suffered by other players and seemingly nothing else.
