How much will this influence his development? Is this only negative on a short-term scale? 2 years now of little to no ice-time and playing on a fourth line... Sucks

It's not ideal but it's not like he's getting no games...if this keeps up he will probably go back down to the U20 team the way Åberg has.
And this is why you can't read anything into his offensive numbers this year if they end up being ugly once again. His ice time is clearly going to come down to injuries being suffered by other players and seemingly nothing else.
Collberg ended up playing 8:53 and had 2 shots on net.
His shots per minute rate is pretty impressive so far given what I've heard about his ice-time. That's a good sign that the goals are going to explode when he finally works his way up the lineup.

Considering his limited and poorly distributed time, 2 shots on net is a good sign. The kid just needs to hit the gym hard so he can force his way to bigger things.
Olimb is injured 6-8 weeks and Kahnberg is day-to-day.
However, Viktor Stahlberg trained with Frolunda today and Loui Eriksson is another possible forward signing. So it might be even tougher for Collberg in the future, but Frolunda hasn't decided yet about signing NHL-players or not (decision might come tonight).

Ouch, not boding well for our young prospect. Thanks for the update.

Hopefully, they would send him asap to J-20. Looks more and more like the only viable solution for him to have decent ice time this year....

Sucks that the lockout could force him back to the J20, Pribyl's not getting icetime in the Czech mens league as well, so if more NHLers head there as well he could end up in the 2nd league or juniors again.
Hopefully both prospects are in North America next year.
Atleast Collberg seems to get some quality ice-time tomorrow.
From Frolunda's homepage:
With Kahnberg and Olimb injured, Jonathan Johnson will play, which gives Frolunda 12 forwards. Collberg will probably stay with Joel Lundqvist and Jari Tolsa [first line] and Jonathan will play center.
Christian Lechtaler (Frolunda's assistent coach):
-It is likely that Collberg stays there, yes, then we'll see how we form the team.
Edit: However, Collberg got a puck on his skate last game and there is a little question mark for him tomorrow, but he should play.
I hear Erik Karlsson is signing with Jokerit, while that wouldn't effect Collberg directly, it could suggest that other Frolunda alumni aren't expecting to go back.

This is his opportunity, lets hope he steps up and takes full advantage of it.
