He never got credited with it, it's some sort of bug with the live update stats. But yea, he certainly got the puck lose to Lundqvist.

The kid just can't catch a break if he's truly injured just as he's getting legit ice time.

8:50 TOI in this game. 2 SOG and this supposed almost assist.

No, he was at the bench the entire third period, I managed to spot him.

Here's the highlight; http://www.elitserienplay.se/#/video.1868202610001, and AIK defenceman fans on the puck, which takes away the assist.

10.2 shots per hour for Collberg. That's solid. The goals should start coming any time now.

Collberg got his assist, according to hockeyligan.se.

EDIT: Scratch that... He didn't.

Especially when you consider his role and that he's shifted around that suggests he is fitting in at the SEL level. I really look forward to seeing him in the next tournament.

Kahnberg is healthy again now, so Collberg is probably getting bumped down to the 4th line or 13th forward. Next game is Tuesday at HV71 (1 PM Eastern).

Do you think it would had been more productive for his overall development that Collberg play his last junior year(s) in Canada in one of our three Junior leagues instead of playing a handful of minutes in pro hockey in Sweden ?

Maybe. I think a lot will depend on next season. With a more youngster friendly coach, he will be alright.

Turns out Kahnberg isn't ready to go today. Collberg back on the first line.

Bad news for Kahnberg, good news for Collberg.

Although I hope he maintains 1st line minutes all game, and hopefully some PP time this time around.

Correct me if I am wrong, but last time he had "1st line minutes" he was held off the PP, right?

That's great news, last time he also was playing against the top defensive team if I remember correctly. Take advantage Collberg!

Nah, he was out there on the PP. Played the left half boards, which isn't optimal. He should be hanging around the slot and net area.

Kahnberg not playing today and unsure for thursday, Dick Axelsson out two weeks as well. And with Olimb out six to eight weeks that means our top three offensive players are out and it's time for Collberg to step up and start producing.

Don't they have another Axelsson hidden in the minors that they can call-up? I bet that's what's gonna happen.

Any rumblings that with all these key injuries, Frolunda are going to dip into the NHL talent pool? I heard Stalberg was rumoured to Frolunda recently...

The openly stated (press release) today that that's their intention now.

Collberg is playing 2nd line with Axelsson-Axelsson tonight.

Difficult game once again for Frolunda, away against the second team in the league who only has allowed 12 goals in 7 games.

Safe assumption that at that size if he was any good he'd have been drafted by now.
