Don't be surprised if he starts getting interest from teams over here once he gets to be 24/25. He's still a work in progress, but the key word is still progress. Added bonus: the last line of his eliteprospects profile writeup = "Pretty active stick". 6'8"... pretty active stick... How old was Hal Gill again when he really came into his own?
But in all seriousness, at a similar age Hal Gill was a former 8th round draft pick who had just been named captain of his
NCAA team after their championship. Svedberg is playing in the European pros for the third year in a row and was one of the captains of his J20 championship team two seasons ago. I mean, what does any of that tell us about the possible "ceiling" of one guy vs the other? Moral of the story is that it's hard to write these uberbig guys off until we see what they're capable of in their mid-20s. If mobility/speed issues aren't worked/trained out by
then , it becomes a safer bet.

Svedberg already has drawn some interest from the NHL. The Blackhawks had him over for development camp. Several others were interested.

Is it against any rule to post a stream?
Edit: They say in the chat that the stream might be shut down for the second period.

Not that I am aware of.
I've seen plenty of streams posted on this site.

Collberg really needs to add some muscle. You can see he wants to engage in battles around the boards, but he's just not capable of winning them due to lack of strength.
Which is why he wouldn't be a good fit in the AHL right now.

His commitment is encouraging even if he just isn't effective right now. It's pretty clear that's the one thing keeping him contained.

2 shots on that shift. Went to the net and got a mediocre backhand off for the 2nd one.
Now the feed is gone. Booo.

Collberg is benched now anyway. Sjostrom who replaced him on the 2nd line, just got robbed by Wesslau.

I've been hoping the habs would be interested in that guy. He needs time, but could be an NHLer with tremendous size.

Hopefully him and Collberg have awesome chemistry and get first line minutes... or not. I wonder if he'll get send down to the J20 SuperElit.
